Social Media: Purposes and Uses

In 2017 Molly Russell killed herself. Instagram CEO Adam Mossen was interviewed aout getting rid of all content including self harm. He said that it was easier said than done because by getting rid of all self harm related content, the suicide preventions are also getting rid of.

The number of social media platforms available has led to a proliferation in this, as has the fact that users enjoy a degree of anonymity when posting via social media sites.
